Description:
Medical Fluoroscopy exposes the patient and medical staff to radiation. This module covers radiation physics, exposure to radiation and absorption, factors of exposure, protection against exposure, and the limits of exposure. It covers the new 2019 Joint Commission standards of fluoroscopy.

  • Manage a fluoroscope to minimize radiation exposure and image optimization
  • Practice radiation safety
  • Discuss how radiation affects tissues
